Attractors

An interactive 3D gallery of strange attractors — chaotic equations rendered as glowing point clouds you can spin in your hands.

What it does

Some of the simplest equations in mathematics never settle and never repeat, yet they trace astonishingly elegant shapes in space. Attractors brings six of these famous systems to life as dense, luminous particle clouds. Pick one, watch it draw itself into existence, then drag to orbit and scroll to zoom around the structure.

Features

  • Six classic systems — Lorenz, Rössler, Aizawa, Thomas, Clifford, and De Jong, each with hundreds of thousands of points.
  • Live controls — adjust the point count, spin speed, and particle size and watch the cloud respond instantly.
  • Glow and draw-in — toggle additive glow for a luminous nebula look, and a draw-in animation that paints the attractor as it integrates.
  • Smooth orbiting — drag to rotate, scroll to zoom, with gentle auto-spin so it looks alive on its own.

When to use it

Open it when you want a moment of calm, a living desktop backdrop, or a vivid way to show someone that chaos and beauty are the same thing. It is equally at home as an ambient piece on a second screen and as a quick, tangible intuition for what a strange attractor actually is.
