BiteReader

Finish books and long articles in the fragments of time you actually have. BiteReader turns anything you upload into a feed of bite-sized reads — scroll through it like a short-video app, and what you've read never comes back.

What it does

  • Upload anything long — EPUB and PDF books, plain text, Markdown, or just paste an article.
  • Key ideas first — every upload gets an AI-written digest: a short summary and the core takeaways, shown as the first card so you know what you're getting into.
  • Bite-sized feed — the text is split into ~45-second reads at natural paragraph and chapter boundaries. Swipe left for the next bite (or right to go back), like flipping pages. Arrow keys work on desktop.
  • Progress that sticks — scrolling past a bite marks it read. Reopen the book any time and the feed picks up precisely where you left off; finished bites are never shown again.
  • Finish line — a progress bar, time-left estimate, and a small celebration when you reach the end. Reset any book to read it again.

When to reach for it

  • A book you've been "currently reading" for six months.
  • Long essays and reports you saved but never opened.
  • Commutes, queues, and coffee breaks — turn dead time into finished books.
